The objective of the project is transfer of modern technology to local communities to improve their incomes through improved dairy productivity, that is better dairy breeds and higher milk yields. The project comprises Artificial Insemination fodder demonstration on farm feed formulations as well as capacity building for communities. The project provides a milk collection and cooling plant and a resource information centre.
The project benefits: The project is completed and commissioned and benefits about 600 farmers and over 500 business community members.
